Meet your match

Sometimes you just know.

The right pair isn’t always the one you’d pick from the shelf. Rae helps you play with shapes, colours and styles until something clicks.

  1. 01 Try something you would normally ignore.
  2. 02 Hair up. Hair down. Hat off. Take a picture.
  3. 03 If they fit and you love them, that’s the pair.

Find your frames

Finding your frames should be fun.

There is no tiny formula hiding behind the counter. Faces move. Personalities matter. The best pair might be the one you nearly didn’t try.

“Often people fall in love with a frame they may never have picked themselves.”

Rae’s rule: forget the rules for a minute.

Behind the counter

Meet Rae.

A lifelong affinity for eyewear, a sharp eye for people, and drawers full of the good stuff.

Rae grew up around opticians: cleaning lenses in her mother’s practice, with an eyewear designer father and a grandfather who later set up a glasses manufacturer. After a career away from optics, she returned to the thing that had always been there.

Rae’s began as a Camden Passage pop-up in 2020, travelled around the UK, then found a permanent home on Charlton Place. The shop is personal by design: regulars drop in, visitors try far too many pairs, and Rae keeps pulling frames until the right one appears.
